How to get to Ta Cu Mountain, Vietnam

Once you’re in Mui Ne, about 6 hours north of Saigon, you’ll probably end up doing nothing and enjoying the beaches. At least, that’s what we heard about the little village of Mui Ne. Curiously, we didn’t find the oh-so-beautiful beaches. Instead, we did a pretty crazy tour to Ta Cu Mountain with our own scooter.

Rabbit Island owes its name to its shape of a rabbit. Since we have no drone we cannot confirm that. What we can confirm is that you can walk the whole island within 2 hours, there is no electricity (only for 4 hours a day), accomodation is very simple and island life very relaxing. We came to Rabbit Island primarily for one reason:

How to see Luang Prabang from across the Mekong

If you want to get away from beautiful but touristy Luang Prabang, get on a ferry and cross the Mekong to visit Chompet district. It won’t be as spectacular as Luang Prabang, but you will experience rustic Lao life, some Wats, a cave and a beautiful view of Luang Prabang. Of the WHOLE Luang Prabang, not only part of it because you are standing right in the middle on Mount Phousi)

Cooking Class in Ubud

Ubud is famous for its’ great variety of good and healthy food. No wonder, cooking classes are spread over the village in the heart of Bali. With such a great choice, it can be difficult to choose a cooking class. We chose Pulu Cooking Class as we read not many (at that time 4 reviews) but only excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. And we wouldn’t have been disappointed.
